well, i have finally managed to get enough motivation to post yet another entry to my infamous blog. well, i have now started driving a rig, and im loving it. Im currently doing local shunt runs, which means i do alot of driving nowhere, but hey, it is valuable experience. So far in my hundreds of kilometers of going nowhere i have nearly drove off the road, flooked every one of my back ups, and used my highway horn on about 3 cars. all in a weeks work i say. lol. one thing i have really noticed is that when you weigh about 100,000 lbs, it is tough to get up to highway speeds, and hell, it is tough to stop it. one time i almost gave someone a 100,000 lb enima, lol. and you thought hospitals were mean. anyways, my first week as a driver, muskoka has entrusted me to my OWN truck, good ol muskoka transport 975. it has a brand new matress, and 850,000 miles on her. yes, thats miles. see i dont mind that, cause hey, she is my gem. anyways, if you see good ol 975 out on the road, look out, cause shes a tired old girl, and she dont like to slow down. one good way to know if its me barrelling down on you, is if the lights are flashing, the highway horn is blaring, and if you can hear over that, some serious gear grinding. lol. yes, im still a noob, and those gears are bound to be round by the time i have to trade her in. anyways, i think that is enough for one entry, until the next, hammer down, and smooth sailing drivers.
